OVERVIEW
We are pleased to announce that the late-breaking abstract submission portal for The European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology 2025 is now officially OPEN.
This is your final opportunity to present new and impactful research that has emerged since the original submission deadline. Don’t miss your chance to share the latest developments with the ECCN community.
To begin your submission, create or login to your existing account with your ECCN credentials and follow the instructions. Deadline for submission is 31st May 2025.
Please note that this does not include applications for bursaries or oral presentations. This is for abstracts for posters only. Please ensure that you read the abstract guidelines before making your submissions.
Presenting at the ECCN 2025 allows you to:
- Share your research at the leading international forum for Clinical Neurophysiology.
- Engage in open dialogue with some of the 800+ delegates for future collaborative opportunities.
- Gain recognition among your peers.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
The following guidelines apply to each abstract:
- Submitted abstracts are limited to 400 words.
The following fields are required for each submission and will count toward the total word limit: Introduction/Background; Methods; Results; Conclusion.
- Abstracts are accepted in English only.
- Abstract should not contain statements alluding to result or conclusions not presented in the text.
- No References, Tables, Figures, or Images are to be incorporated into the submitted abstracts.
- All Non-standard Acronyms must be Defined
- All Presenters Must Register and Pay to Attend the ECCN
Submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for the conference. At least one author or co-author of each poster presentation is expected to register to attend ECCN 2025 no later than July 1st, 2025.
- Previous Publication or Presentation
Abstracts will be published in CLINPH. If your submission has been published elsewhere, please note this will not be re-published.
- Poster Presentation Format
Poster measures are not allowed to exceed:
A0 format (portrait style)
- All Presenters must Agree to Accept Assigned Poster Session
How to Submit:
- Create an account or Log In to your existing account
- Once logged in, click Abstract Submissions > Add New Submission > Add Submission
- Fill the required field which consist of:
o Abstract Topic
o Title
o Introduction/ Background
o Method
o Result
o Conclusion
- Fill the author and co-author data, and specify who will present
- Click Next Step
- If you are ready to submit the abstract, please tick the checkbox to declare no conflict of interest, willingness and confidence to submit (mandatory)
- Click submit button
- You will receive an email of confirmation after your submission
- You can see the details and status of your submitted abstract on your profile dashboard by viewing “Your submissions”
By submitting an abstract to ECCN 2025, abstract authors agree that at least one author will attend the meeting and will be available to present on the date and at the time assigned.

Poster Session Times & Author Attendance:
Poster sessions will take place on Wednesday and Thursday (September 10th and 11th, 2025), corresponding with posted exhibitor hours. Each author will be assigned one day for exhibiting their poster.
Authors are required to display their posters all day on the day of their poster session during the allocated hours. Authors are expected to stand by and present their posters during the poster session.
Your poster should be displayed only during the dedicated day period. Please mount your poster in the morning and dismount it in the evening according to the dedicated day. All posters not taken down by then will be discarded. Mounting material will be provided on-site.
Abstract Acceptances:
You will receive your acceptance notice and session timing/instructions via email by 30th March 2025.
Please keep your email information up-to-date to ensure receipt of acceptance. Once poster presentations have been scheduled, the complexity of the program planning process prevents any changes in the type of session, time, or location of any presentation. There are no exceptions.
Abstract acceptance obligates the author to register and attend the assigned poster session.
Abstract Withdrawals:
Written notification of withdrawal of an abstract must be received by ECCN 2025 by May 31, 2025 if the abstract cannot be included in the Congress materials. Any withdrawal requests made after May 31, 2025 will be honored by ECCN; however, based on the date of the request, the abstract may be included in the materials, and a “Withdrawn by Author” sign will appear on the poster board.
